Zeera Vandarin

Hello and welcome!
Come, sit.
Let me tell you how the Tarot speaks to me.
In my time as a summoner, I realized the Primals had whispers for me. Not all the time, mind you. That would be maddening, right? No, they whisper to me when I can access them, and to do that I focus and listen. Sometimes they give me images as well, visions in my mind and I can share them with you. I use many things to help me focus, but cards are my favorite, and the ones in the Eorzean deck are the ones I use when I'm working at the club. The way it works is this. I take a bit of gil from you, it's not much, just 300K for one person, or 500K for a couple. I'd do it for free but I have this thing for sushi, and a girl's gotta eat, yeh?Anyway, I'll have you ask me a question you'd like the answer to. and you'll need to help by really thinking hard about the question itself. Then I pull three cards, Past, Present and Future. Each one is like a story, and I'll tell you just how it ends.If you'd rather have a traditional reading after hours, that takes a bit longer, around an hour or two, and I charge more for that of course! You'll get a photo of your layout and you can follow along as I tell you what I see and hear. If this is something you'd like to know more about, simply contact me!

At the time, she was marked with a pale white circle on her forehead, so the crew began referring to her as Zero, since she could not recall ever having a name. She didn’t mind, it made no difference what people wanted to call her.By the time the ship labored its way to the Limsa docks, she had won everyone over with her upbeat personality and unshakeable work ethic. But keeping a young female Miqo’te on a ship full of boisterous sailors would not fly with the captain. The crew convinced an old fishmonger couple to look after her, and they were relieved she was safe from harm for the time being. It didn’t take long before she knew everyone at the Hawker’s market, since she’d just walk right up to folks and engage them in cheerful conversation. She seemed to have an odd accent, though no one could discern where it might be from. When she would introduce herself, they heard ‘Zeera’ when she’d actually said ‘Zero’.Curiosity being a normal predilection for her kind, she began studying every book she could get her hands on, making the old couple looking after her very nervous. They were simple folk, and such things seemed impractical. Not only that, but her voracious appetite for fish, in fact seafood of any kind, was making the bills a bit difficult to pay. Taking only their surname to remember them, she left, after overhearing of a city called Ul’dah. It was said they were always hiring female Miqo’te, no experience necessary!Little did she know the line was just a joke, referring to the cat girl dancers of the city. The other dancers were kind, but only to a point. She was still a bit of a refugee, lacking the fine silks and soft boots they had. Her hair, which she kept in locs just out of practicality, seemed wild and unkempt to some. Still, her natural grace and friendly smile danced her right into the hearts of even the most gruff of audiences.Through all of this, Zeera was completely oblivious to the fact she’d been underpaid by the merchants there, until she made good friends with a few Viera who carefully explained how to handle money and manage herself. Despite her past, she believes most people are good, and truly only wants to spread happiness and joy to others. So when the opportunity to become a traveling courtesan presented itself, she leapt at the chance! Along with gaining the funding for her own home, she could finally afford the fine clothing she longed to wear, and even better- all the sushi she could eat! But most importantly, she could seek out the lonely and lost and try to make their dreams a reality. Her eager nature and charm made her a popular companion, and soon she was doing far better in the occupation than she ever thought she would. Many of her clients began to visit with her to talk about their relationships too, and she advised them. The answers to their questions came partially from her own experiences, but mostly from what she called her ‘whispers’. In order to focus and listen to these influences, she became adept with using Tarot cards as a tool. Before long, she learned to focus more on fortunes and advice and less on courting, though honestly they never seemed all that different to begin with. These days she is officially a tarot reader for hire, though Zeera will always find her joy in helping others whenever she is able, and enjoys getting hired out as a courtesan from time to time. With the recent discovery of the southern lands, Zeera is experiencing a shift in her identity. The accent that had seemed odd to everyone before now seems less of a mystery. She may never know everything about where she came from, but at least she has found a purpose and reason in what she enjoys.
